The road surface is always sealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From Queenstown travel east (towards Cromwell) on the SH-6 for 45km. As soon as you reach the power station (on your right) \u2013 watch for a car park. You find an official parking a few meters past the power station. It\u2019s a turnover (on your right) from the main highway. There are no facilities there (no toilets).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The waterfall is seen from the car park. Though it&#8217;s an artificial waterfall created by the water stream from the power station, it looks very natural and is classified as a waterfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The view of the Kawarau River is unbeatable from this parking. It\u2019s a nice spot to stop, relax and enjoy on the way to\/from Queenstown.
