LAKE MISTLETOE
This walking track leads you through forest to a peaceful lake that is home to New Zealand scaup (duck), frogs and other wetland wildlife.
The track is suitable for all ages so is great for a family walk.
This walking track is located on the Milford Road (SH94), which is 27 km (30 minutes drive) north from Te Anau.
The track starts from the signpost over the road from the hotel complex at Te Anau Downs.
Only a short walk to the lookout to get a great view of Lake Mistletoe.

This Lake is an easy drive to get to from Te Anau and has an easy loop track through the bush.
