FANTAIL FALLS
A 23-meter waterfall, Fantail Falls is located in Mt Aspiring National Park, along Haast Highway. This is a beautiful and easily accessible waterfall, which drops into the crystal clear Haast River.
This waterfall is on the Haast highway and again is another waterfall that is only a few minutes through the bush to see across the river, water spreads into several veins before reaching the river below.
Here is the tail and the water has fanned out across the rocks which break up the water flow.
