FRANS JOSEF WATERFALLS
Un-officially named, Franz Josef Parking Waterfall is found at the beginning of the walk path which leads to Franz Josef Glacier. It’s seen from a DOC track and isn’t required any payments.
The waterfalls appear on both sides while having different flows and appearances.
This thin water fall trickles down in steps to the bottom in a line of spray.
Two seen close together and a just near the car park for viewing.
Another two one splits as if flows downwards while the other is just a line coming out of the bush above.
I could only just see the top of this one higher up and disappears below into the bush again I think.
