HOOKER VALLEY TRACK
The track leads up the Hooker Valley and along the Hooker River, ending at the glacier lake, where there are amazing views of Aoraki/Mount Cook on a clear day. Along the way you will cross three swing bridges and encounter picturesque icebergs, glaciers and majestic mountains that will have you reaching for your camera at every turn.

Lake Muller Lookout
Lake Muller Back dropped by the mountain ranges.
Shh can you hear the ever-changing landscape around you at the Lake Muller Lookout.
Anorak/Mt Cook appears in the distant with clear blue skies.
The track is well maintained and is easy for everyone but there are swing bridges to cross along the way.
First swing bridge approaches below over the Tasman River.
Swing bridge no 1 well built and easy to cross.
You gert incredible views of Anorak/Mt Cook from various vantage points along the track.
The path crosses the Hooker river which joins to the Tasman River further down.
The is an amazing place for any photographer and people interested in walking or hiking in nature of NZ.
Aoraki/Mt Cook
Hooker River colour is glacial blue and rushes down the valley.
Second swing bridge appears on another bend and is strong and safe to cross with ease.

Lake Muller is a glacial lake in Mt Cook National Park.
Ranges of the west coast stretch across the left side of Hooker Lake creating a barrier.
Small tarn tucked amount the reeds and bush over to the side of the track.
This is Hooker Valley Waterfall that casades on the creek rather than falling like a water fall. Can be seen on this amazing walk in the Mt Cook National Park.
Waterfalls are my favourite thing to see in nature and this was a tall one.
