MATAI AND HORSESHOE WATERFALLS
Actually, two waterfalls, Horseshoe Falls and Matai Falls, are located on the Matai Stream in the Catlins Forest Park. Easy and enjoyable walk, picnic tables and a scenic highway make these falls very popular among the tourists and locals.
These two falls are found in the Catlins area and are close to the Horseshoe falls too.
This waterfall is tucked in amongst the bush and has a easy and enjoyable walk in the Catlins.
This falls has several smaller falls alongside it that drizzle down the rock face but give the falls texture amongst the native bush.
From further back the fall is lovely and peaceful. This is a ponytail waterfall.
