McLEAN WATERFALL

Perhaps the best waterfall in Southland Region, McLean Falls is located on the Tautuku River in Caitlins Conservation Park, along the scenic Chaslands Hwy. McLean Falls consists of 2 waterfalls, lower and upper; both of them are easily accessible. It’s one of the Must See New Zealand Waterfalls.

This is one of my favourite waterfalls because of where it is and how it looks, by the whispering frog cafe in the Catlins.

You can enjoy the 20 minute walk and the scenery before reaching the amazing waterfall and take wonderful photos to record your visit.

This is one of the lower waterfalls further down the stream from the base of the waterfall.
