ST BATHAN’S BLUE LAKE LOOP TRACK

This walk is easy and is well maintained and gives you an amazing view of the lake and its history, there are many spots where you can stop and admire the views and see the incredible tailings that have been left behind from the prospecting days. The track to walk is only about 40minutes but if you are stopping to take photos or rest it will be slightly longer. This is accessible for everyone and is a lovely spot to visit on holiday or for an outing.

Path winds it way through the tailings and openings allowing you to see the scenery near and far.

Path curves along the side of the lake only takes about 40 minutes or so.

Path view on the leftside of the lake good outing for those who enjoy the outdoors.

Further scalloped formations appear at the far end and corner of the blue lake before returning back.

The path along the walk is easy and well maintained making it enjoyable and easy to complete.

Pipers from the mining appear and stand out along the walk.

Old machiner sit on the side of the path providing a sample of who this operated years ago.

Amazing shapes appear where ever you look on the easy scenic walk.

Incrediible sights everywhere.

Some tailings are quite high and look like large rock hills or cliffs.

Tailings with cracks and folds seem to roll across the track.

Incredible formations rise about you towards the sky.

History here shows in the tailings and lake surroundings enabling everyone to enjoy and learn about its history.

This mound reaches above the path and shows how much work was done when this mine was working years ago.

You can see the rock mounds that show the minerals that were taken from the mine when it was operational.

Discovered this on the oppposite side of the lake, could enter to safely to see what was inside this formation.

A very interesting spot showing further curves and cervices.

Interesting formations and shapes appear on both sides of the lake and along the track.

Around any corner along the loop track you will find cliff and mounds of tailings.

The surface of the tailings show different surfaces created by weather and surroundings.

This mound looked like a cracked surface of an egg, incredible.
