Over the Waitangi long weekend I took a couple of days to visit Mount Cook National Park to do some more nature walks, such as Hooker Valley Track and Kea Point Track. Went to do the Tasman Glacier Walk, but in the high heat I couldn’t get there this time, so will re-plan another trip during the year. The weather with blue skies and light winds, made each walk an amazing and spectacular views of Mount Cook, Mount Sefton and Lake Muller, and Lake Hooker. New Zealand has some specials vistas of our magnificent mountains, bush and rivers. I would recommend these for all visitors and kiwis who love to be in nature.
