Hi Everyone, another year is about to begin and I just wanted to let you know what is happening in the coming year.
I will be heading over to the west coast again for 3 days in three weeks and will be hoping to do some walks around Greymouth, Lake Brunner, Punakaiki, and one that I have been trying to get to for ages, Lake Matheson. With a short amount of time, I really hope the weather is suitable for the photos and walks on this trip, lets hope so.
Something fun and new I discovered on the west coast is the Nile River Rainforest Train Ride, this I will certainly be doing on our trip, looks so cool and the forest you ride through is amazing. Website: www.caverafting.com and reasonably priced too.
Another full day trip that I may or may not get to do this year is get to Lake Daniells Track, just before Springs Junction in the Marble Hill Area, I have heard a lot of wonderful things about this walk and would love to do this as a full day trip as I drive from Christchurch. I am starting a new job this year so time of is going to be an issue so will just have to do what I can, or replan this for 2025.
