With the weather being so hot I decided to get out and revisit the Godley Head walk before it got too hot. So I arrived about mid morning and set off to look over the old battlements and other arm historic building around the headland before setting along the walk. The day was sunny and clear blue skies, with a wind slowly getting stronger during and as I concluded the walk, great opportunity to see many vistas of the coastline of our harbour and surrounding bays, to see the peninsula and coastline north and in around Lyttelton Harbour, also views right up to the port hills looking south. A walk that can be enjoyed by all, on a good.
