Revisiting Devils Punchbowl Waterfall

Devils Punchbowl Waterfall

As mention in my previous post, I decided to revisit Arthur’s Pass Village to go and revisit the Devil’s Punchbowl Waterfall with a friend, and today was a perfect day to do so. The day was warm with some high cloud and great for photography, we set off after lunch and walked our way up and across the bridges and then the many set of stairs both up and down till we finally reached the viewing platform. This time the waterfall was acting differently as the wind was whipping across the gully blowing the water spray out across the rock face and bush. It looked like a veil blowing in the wind. The colours and the views are awesome and you can see the very top two drops of the punchbowl and I am thrilled that I got better landscape and portrait photos of the waterfall from various locations on this day, and these will be uploaded and renewed on the Devils Punchbowl Waterfall, under NATURES WATERFALLS.

This walk is 30 mins each way and can be enjoyed by everyone.
