Today I did the loop path around one tree hill in Cornwall Park, Auckland, it was an amazing walk and was enjoyable and relaxing. The park itself is astonishing and beautifully laid out with large trees including Totara, Rimu, Pohutakawa, Oak, Redwood, and White Pine etc. The path is paved and easy to follow, and includes places to stop and explore two historical buildings such as Acacia Cottage and Huia Lodge. At the creamery you can stop for a ice cream or visit the lodge for a bite to eat. The park also includes some farm land where you can see sheep and cows grazing in the lush fields. This is a special part of Auckland City Parks and Walks and one that I can certainly recommend.
